The Emperor of Rome, Hadrian had it right when he said "brick by brick, my citizens, brick by brick." indeed Rome was not built in a day and the accomplishment of an individual is rarely gauged by actions done in a day, days, weeks even years, time is relative as its results are, and not one individual can ever realize this truth, unless they lay down the idea of control and yield to acceptance in all its unfavorable form, we rarely embrace the mundane, not knowing that it is in these passing hours that our true moments will be defined in the end, things will pass, so will seasons, but in the end, our epitaph will not merely be words but they will be lives, lives we have touched, lived we have blessed and lives we have cursed, the endzone is so ambiguous no one dare define it lest they be mistaken for a colossal fool.
Today I will have to build for tomorrow, as I take things step by step I trust the Lord to make my way sure and my vision clear.
